Melting at Qigong

IMG_1432Out of the window today at Qigong, the ice was melting. Rapidly. The long frozen needles representing the past months of bitter winter were succumbing to the brilliant sunshine.

Inside too, my muscles were softening and thawing to the loosened chi flowing through my body. The image of the dissolving icicles remained with me through the entire class.

Yes, the days are getting longer (we are halfway to the equinox).

Yes, my energy, balance, and flexibility are stretching further too.

External and internal approaching spring.
