Ulric Collette, a Canadian photographer and designer, accidentally came on this photoshopping technique while trying to see what his son would look like as he aged. (The two of them are pictured below.) He calls the series “Genetic Portraits.”

There is something mildly disturbing, yet endlessly fascinating about these images.
