Vivaldi Vivaldi

It was a rough day today. I found a colleague doubled over in pain in a hallway, a student tried to argue with me that copying a wikipedia entry word for word was not plagiarism, I received emails that were inflammatory, and rumor has it we will be having 10 inches of snow over the next 24 hours.

BUT, the first drafts of my students’ research papers have all been handed back, spring break is less than two weeks away, and it is, indeed, Vivaldi’s birthday.

Julie Fischer and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields play “Spring” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons inside the National Botanical Gardens of Wales.

  1. I am happy that you can still see the good, the bad, and you didn’t mention any ugly!
