Thank you, WordPress

I have been looking for an excuse to get an iPad for some time, some justification, some real reason beyond my simple curiosity to entertain myself, I mean explore, the world of apps et al. And I have found it! Because we will be visiting IB in Japan very soon and I want to be able to blog while there and my laptop is heavy and it’s a very long plane ride and it’s a light weight way to carry reading material and other audio visual stimuli and ah…(I know there are a few more reasons….) I got one today. In fact, this post is produced from my brand new iPad.

So I just want to say, thank you WordPress, you rock! Because of you (and of course my son’s far flung travels) I was able to find justification for purchasing this new toy, I mean tool, to communicate into cyberspace.

Yes, blogging provides many opportunities for stretching one’s ability to rationalize the purchase of more and more technology, thereby becoming a stronger consumer, and helping our economy flourish.

congratulations on your new guilt-free I Pad.

  2. And you can take a photo with it, blog posts en route, wonderful.

I LOVE my iPad. Want a little hint about how to love it MORE? Get a keyboard. Blogging on the pad is kind of a drag with the touch pad, and I haven’t figured out how to upload pictures using the pad, but having the keyboard at least takes care of one frustration.

I’m SO looking forward to those posts!!

The typing isn’t so bad. It’s making corrections that get a little frustrating. Does the keyboard help with that because it has arrow keys?

I think I have the photo thing figured out, but it just isn’t as flexible as doing it from a computer.

Hahaha YAY! Congrats, and, you’re welcome. 🙂
