8th grade Signs

Every Friday I run a club called “Short Films.” Today I showed this romantic short (above). The kids loved it. LE slowly rose out of his chair into a standing position as the movie reached its climax. He is a quiet and reflective young man and I am sure he was projecting himself directly into the film. EC tried to hide it, but I really saw her eyes water at the end. Of course, the ambiance in the room was also fueled by the dynamic of RJ and ST trying to snuggle close in their chairs in the darkened classroom. I pretended not to see.

8th grade innocence. Awkward and sweet.

WONDERFUL! Thanks for sharing. I showed to my college daughter. Want to save for future use in classroom when possible.
